PROGRAM

The 2nd preliminary program of sessions and roundtables of TTT2025 Ljubljana has just been published. Approximately 170 speakers from more than 30 countries focusing (a) on questions about the nature of the forbidden and about the aesthetics of liminality, and (b) on the opening of spaces for creative transformation in the merging of science and art.

Starting on 10 September, TTT2025 Ljubljana conference program is structured into 30 sessions, presenting as well six roundtables, plus showreels, screenings, performances and an exhibition. Two sessions run in parallel (A at Katedrala Hall & B at Komuna Hall). Each session lasts 90 minutes and is composed of 4 presentations, a mix of papers and artist talks (15 minutes each), the initial 15 minutes are for introductions by the chairperson and the 15 minutes at the end of the presentations are for Q&A to all speakers. With a 45 minutes length Roundtables are structurally more flexible and inciting dialectics.

TTT2025 Ljubljana is proud to present an exciting program of art events opening on 9 September, "Coining Utopias", at 6 pm, running throughout the conference at the Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture, Trg prekomorskih brigad 3, 1000 Ljubljana. Besides this artshow, TTT2025 Ljubljana program presents on 10-12 September, in the evening, "Forensic Performativity", organized by Kapelica Gallery, Likozarjeva 1, 1000 Ljubljana, on 10 September, in the evening, "Mestna Jaga: A Decade of Urban Hunting", organized by Cirkulacija 2, Podhod Ajdovščina 2, 1000 Ljubljana, and on 13 September, in the morning, a guided tour to the exhibition "Future Legacies", organized by the Museum of Architecture and Design, Rusjanov trg 7, 1000 Ljubljana, and, in the evening, "eliXir" and "Lament", co-organized with Projekt Atol, Ljubljana, and Pixxelpoint 2025 festival in the context of GO!2025 European Capital of Culture Nova Gorica - Gorizia, at the Karst region.

The Future Legacies is a space where heritage meets innovation, place-based knowledge intersects with speculative futures, and craft stands at the heart of both cultural continuity and ecological transformation. This exhibition is built on an exploration of the ways in which traditional skills, local materials and scientific methods can enrich each other. The Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO) is Slovenia’s central institution for architecture and design – preserving national heritage, fostering critical reflection and future oriented dialogue.
