The exhibition brings together a body of works created by undergraduate students of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts during the academic year 2025–2026, within the framework of their coursework.
Through a variety of media, techniques, thematic concerns, and personal approaches, the works come together for the first time within a shared space. Image, sound, video, installations, and other hybrid forms of expression coexist, forming a polyphonic whole. Each work articulates a distinct perspective, highlighting the importance of diversity in artistic creation and the production of meaning.
The title of the exhibition refers to the coexistence of different ideas, forms, and modes of making, as well as to the relations emerging between them. At the same time, it reflects the philosophy of the Department, where image, sound, and both digital and traditional arts intersect and are combined as means of artistic expression and production.
DIALOGIC INTERVENTIONS IN PUBLIC SPACE
The Dialogic Interventions in Public Space course explores the relationship between private and public space and life through the units "Reading" and "Writing". The "Reading" unit focused on the mapping and understanding of human behaviour, as well as of the heterogeneous elements that compose the urban environment. In the "Writing" unit, the participants explored the anthropogeographic dimension of public space through the lens of childhood and adolescence.

Students defined their own investigative paths and selected their preferred media to manifest their concepts, fostering unique artistic voices and critical inquiry. In doing so, they cultivated a meaningful synthesis between theoretical discourse and creative practice.

ICONOGRAPHY OF SOUND
The course on visual sound design explores the relationship between auditory and visual form. Students experimentally approach sound as a material, translating it into visual structures through two-dimensional abstract representations. Through this process, they develop ways of understanding and composing in which the auditory and the visual coexist as a unified experience.

ADVANCED DRAWING WORKSHOP AND COMIC ILLUSTRATION
The Advanced Drawing Workshop and Comic Illustration aims to cultivate visual literacy: the ability of students to see, analyze, and create images with awareness, structure, and intention. Within this educational process, students explore the relationship between form, tone, space, rhythm, composition, and narrative. The works presented serve not only as educational exercises but as small fields of experimentation, where each student begins to shape their own visual language.
