The Department of Audio and Visual Arts, in collaboration with the Electroacoustic Music Research & Applications Laboratory of the Ionian University, organizes the 18th Audiovisual Arts Festival, in Corfu from 8th to 18th May, 2025! The Festival stands out for the presentation of works made by the Student and Academic Community of the Ionian University in the fields of Contemporary Audio & Visual Arts, Hybrid and Performing Arts.

The AV-school, the seminar and workshop series of the Audio-Visual Arts Festival, will take place at the Public Central Historical Library of Corfu, from May 12 to 16, 2025. This year’s theme, "Intersections", invites participants from all backgrounds who are interested in contemporary art and new technologies.

The Steering Committee of the 18th Audiovisual Arts Festival (#AVfest2025) of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts, in collaboration with the ERHMEE Lab - Department of Music Studies, of the Ionian University invites students and anyone who is interested in joining the volunteers’ team. The Organizing Committee of the Taboo - Transgression - Transcendence in Art & Science (TTT) Conference is delighted to announce its sixth international gathering, taking place from September 9-13, 2025, at Kino Šiška in Ljubljana, Slovenia. TTT2025 invites submissions from artists, researchers, and thinkers who explore interdisciplinary themes within art and science to submit their papers, artist-talks and artwork presentation proposals until 31 December 2024 via the conference's digital platform.
