This video art-performance called “Veins” is a result of an exploration of personal artistic identity, aesthetics and experimentation, about the “female body”. Through the process, the aim is to highlight the female body as normality in all its possible forms, taking various shapes and declaring its naked presence. The medium of video and performance symbolize the social oppression against femininity, regarding the molds in which they are called upon to fit into daily. The well-positioned pictures of the body, contrast with the raw movement and image of the body, and creating a dipole. This is a dipole that women serve - often unconsciously - in order to be liked and accepted socially.
