Rena Katsenou, Ioannis Deliyannis, and Dalila Honorato will take part in the 17th Annual International Conference on Education, Research, and Innovation (ICERI2024), which will be held in Seville, Spain, on November 11-13, 2024. Their research, titled "Kindergarten Teachers’ Conversations with Froufrou: Human/AI Interaction as a New Anthropological Field," explores the interaction between educators and artificial intelligence as a new hybrid field, where new forms of social knowledge can emerge. The presentation aims to deepen the understanding of the dynamics formed by these interactions and to examine their potential impacts on educational practice and theory. The goal of this research is to contribute to the dialogue around contemporary challenges and opportunities in education, opening new horizons for academic and applied research.

In the framework of the Panhellenic festival "Electroacoustic Music Days 2024", Saturday 2 November, the work "59 Winds" is presented, which the Professor of the Dept. of Audio & Visual Arts, Apostolos Loufopoulos, composed in collaboration with Myrto Korkokiou, flutist, composer and doctoral researcher the Ionian University. The work has been awarded 1st prize at the Franco Evangelisti composition competition (Italy) and has been published in sheet music by Zerboni (Milan) and Forton Music (London)

Dalila Honorato, Prof. of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, is one of the participants in the exhibition Metamorphosis by the Ectopia Experimental Art Lab in Lisbon. With the aim of brings together themes of identity, transformation, and the seen & unseen realities this exhibition prompts the visitors to question the nature of information, and how it impacts their memory, perspectives, and beliefs. A three-day event on Sound Art and Electroacoustic Music in Greece will be hosted from 18-10 to 20-10 at the Athens Concert Hall, organized by the Department of Digital Arts and Film and the Department of Music Studies of the Athens University of Music and Performing Arts, bringing together many composers and representatives of the contemporary music avant-garde in Greece. Apostolos Loufopoulos, after an honorary invitation and in collaboration with Myrto Korkokiou, representing the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, participates with the composition Machine Gun Cut (flute and electronics), which has been awarded 1st prize in the international electroacoustic music competition MUSICA NOVA - Czech Republic.

Assoc. Prof. Dalila Honorato, Director of the InArts Lab at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, participates as a guest-speaker at the Bio Art Forum taking place in Novi Sad, Serbia, on May 16-18, 2024, as part of the project Bio Awaking. The specific objectives of the project include developing a network of bio artists across Europe, strengthening the capacities of European artists in utilizing biomaterials, and creating bio art installations using environmental samples. Additionally, the project will focus on involving decision-makers in all phases of the process, fostering an audience for bio art that supports environmental conservation, and nurturing cultural, artistic, and educational collaboration in addressing environmental challenges in Europe and the Balkans.
