Renata Dalianoudi, Associate Professor of Music and Audiovisual Culture at the Dept. of Audio and Visual Arts of Ionian University, will participate as a conference presenter and session chair in the international conference “Digital Folklore 2.0: Folk Culture in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,”organised by the Department of Primary Education, School of Humanities, University of the Aegean.
Ionian University, and particularly its Department of Audio and Visual Arts, will have a strong presence at the conference, with the participation of five doctoral researchers supervised by Professor Dalianoudi: Panagiotis Sdoukos, Evi Chlorou, Stelios Stromatias, Angeliki Lyginou, and Anna Maria Giannakodimou.
Renata Dalianoudi will contribute three papers, two of which are co-authored with her doctoral researchers:

- Dalianoudi, R. & Chlorou, E. “Folklore 2.0: From the Live Performance of Folk Songs to the Digital Repository—An Inclusive Pedagogical Framework for Traditional Folk Song.”
The conference will take place in Rhodes and Chalki, Greece, from 16 to 18 October 2026, bringing together researchers and scholars to explore the transformations of folk culture, cultural practices, and heritage in the context of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
