Dimitris Savva, a doctoral candidate and scholar of Sheffield University is presenting his research with the theme: Narrative as a compositional practise in electroacoustic music. The presentation will commence with the introduction of the basic terms and concepts used in the research and will continue with the explanation of the process of which these concepts have formed a dipolar system of observation, examination and analysis of narrative as a compositional practise. Additionally, there will be an extensive analysis and demonstration of compositional practises of electroacoustic music related to the above concepts and ideas.
