(Semester: 4)
Τhe fundamental principles and techniques of video production are explored from the conception of the idea to the final distribution. Different kinds of video production are presented (such as fiction, documentary and commercials) and discussed in terms of narration, aesthetics and methods of presentation. The main functions and basic characteristics of the camera are taught, as well as the framing of the shot, the handling of image depth and movement control. During this course, issues concerning color, lighting and visual effects are explained, while systems and shooting processes in the production field are addressed.

The subject of the movie is the antagonistic strugle of two men for survival (by prevailing over each other), as they face increasingly bigger problems during the course of a night. Their troubles are the result of a pinball machine with supernatural powers, a unique idea that forces their dramtic fate in comic dimensions, as they fight each other unaware of the “real” threat. It is a short comedy developed in a way that gives the impression of a full feature and at the same time managing to have a clear begining, middle and end.
