In my work, I explore the relationship between nature, technology, and human interaction, creating an interactive installation that bridges the organic and the digital world. The Monstera becomes a medium of communication, a "living" sensor that gains voice and luminous presence through touch.
Using Arduino, touch and light sensors, as well as UV LED lighting, I create an environment where natural matter triggers sound and light. The tactile connection with the plant transforms into an experience, as touch reveals hidden sounds and visual effects, inviting the viewer into a sensory dialogue with the artwork.
This installation is not only an experiment in interactivity but also a poetic exploration of the interdependence between humans and nature. How do we perceive the natural world when it gains technological means of expression? Through my work, I aim to create experiential spaces where art is not static but responsive, revealing itself and interacting in real time.
I was born in 1995 in Volos and studied Graphic Design at the DIEK of Volos before continuing my studies at the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Western Macedonia in Florina. During my studies, I specialized in digital arts, performance, and photography, with a significant influence from Professor Vasilios Bouzas. In 2023, I completed my thesis, a video installation exploring the microcosm, which was presented at the Agia Olga building in Florina. In my work, I investigate the relationship between reality and illusion, combining technological tools with natural materials. My projects often carry a dystopian character, where sound and image function as a painterly experience. I am influenced by the connection between humans and their environment and the impact of technology on art. Through my work, I seek to create an audiovisual exploration that reveals hidden aspects of reality.
