The installation is based on a turntable equipped with a distance sensor. When the viewer approaches, the song "I am the best waitress" by Haroula Alexiou is activated. However, instead of a conventional vinyl record, a waiter’s tray is placed on the turntable, balancing two glasses on top. At the same time, the turntable’s needle has been replaced with a fork. This subversion of the expected functions of the objects creates a dialogue between music, labor, and the identity of workers in the food service industry.
