The video, centered around the theme of memory loss, explores the loss and transformation of human memories. Through the projection of various personal videos of the artist and their alteration using visual effects, the work seeks to illustrate how memory functions and evolves over time. This aesthetic approach—featuring distortions, blurred images, and thematic repetition—emphasizes the fragile and unstable nature of human memory, which is not a static storage of information but a continuously shifting and reconstructive process. Often, human memory fades, erasing faces, events, or even intertwining different recollections into a fragmented whole. The video aims to provide the viewer with an immersive experience that prompts reflection on the nature of their own memory. As they watch the images fade, distort, and merge, they may identify with the sensation of gradually losing once-vivid and significant memories. By engaging the viewer in this process, the work highlights the complexity of memory, revealing that every time we recall a moment, we are, in fact, rewriting it—altering and reshaping it, sometimes unintentionally. Memory is not a fixed entity but a fluid and ever-changing phenomenon, influenced by time, perception, and personal experience. Through this artistic exploration, the video invites contemplation on the impermanence of our recollections and the inevitable transformation of the past as it exists in our minds.
