The 17th Audiovisual Arts Festival (AVfest) celebrates this year the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University highlighting, through a wide range of scientific and artistic events, the Department's unique contribution to the development of audiovisual arts.
The promotional video of the 17th AVfest refers to the wind of culture blowing across the city of Corfu during the days of the festival, giving color and creative breath to the corners of the city.
The promo is the result of the collaboration between the graduate and undergraduate students of the Department Alexandros Kaminaris (design – graphics – special effects – editing) and Danae Marioglou (cinematography) respectively, and the academic staff of the Department Apostolos Loufopoulos (sound design), Angeliki Malakasioti (artistic design) and Maria Chalkou (concept – direction).
