Postgraduate Course Project Digital Poetry
In the digital age, where the internet bombards us with an overwhelming amount of content, discerning quality becomes a challenge. The TSITATA (SNIPPETS) project delves into this phenomenon, highlighting how saturation, rather than quality, drives content production. Despite spending hours on social networks, the average user’s attention span is a mere two and a half seconds. The project explores the devaluation of content and the user’s inability to recognize its qualitative features. TSITATO (SNIPPET) a term associated with quotations from important figures serves as the inspiration for this work. Through an algorithmic process, users of this application generate an endless stream of low-quality textual content, thereby contributing to the chaotic information landscape.
