I find that phrases like "my town" or "my house" are quite fluid. For some people they are emotionally charged phrases, for others they are conventional or convenient so they can feel that they belong somewhere. The first time I moved, the first feeling was overpowering. After moving many times, getting used to many changes and as I grow older, I feel more and more that my private and public life, as well as memories, have stopped being related to "my town" and are more connected to people, emotions and small details. This is how a video emerged, which however does not focus on the memories of a town. It describes the road, the journey, the thoughts, the only seemingly insignificant moments that remain, the meaning of home and familiarity. It contains footage of the town of Kilkis, my two villages that belong to the prefecture, and some other places around. Also, just because I've always moved away, but not so far as to lose touch with the people I love, I always remember myself walking, driving, getting buses, something that still happens to this day. That is why many shots of means of transport have a prominent place in the overall "narrative". The visual story is accompanied and completed by the soundscape of the car, but in the foreground prevails a diary narration/a recording of thoughts-questions that arise during realization, the one you experience when you understand that you are now an adult.
