Book Presentation - Discussion
Date and Time: 26/05/2022 (18:30-21:00)
Location: Department of History, Amph 1
Coordination:
Renata Dalianoudi

During the current "Audiovisual Arts Festival 2022" there will be an event dedicated to the scientific work of all members of the teaching staff of the Dpt of Audiovisual Arts; Professors, Fellows and Postdoctoral Researchers, concerning monographs, books, e-books, editions of collective volumes/ books, published during the two years of the pandemic (2020-2022).

This action aims at and promotes the fruitful dialogue between the cognitive subjects and the various fields treated within the Department, thus highlighting its complexity.

For this reason, the event is planned not as a conventional individual book presentation for each book and author separately, but as an occasion for a panel/ round table, where each author will present his work, related to Art and Technology, and will discuss about it on a dialogue basis with other authors (from the Department) with similar works.

Along with the panel/ round table, there will be an exhibition desk with the books/ monographs/ collective volumes, so that the public can see and browse them (but there will be no possibility of sale).

Mrs. Christina Banou, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, International Relations and Extraversion will honor the event with her presence. The event will be opened by Mrs. Elli Anthi, Director of the Ionian University Central Library.
