Flute: Myrto Korkokiou (2012)
This work is based on the book by R.Bach Jonathan Livingston Seagull, focusing on the extends -beyond myth- of a spiritual course regarding the primordial ideas of Freedom, Creation and Love. The pre-recorded electroacoustic music derived from a composition of sounds from VCS3 and Synthi 100 synthesisers, and also from recordings of concrete sounds (such as voices, metallic sounding objects, musical instruments), while solo flute follows its own course as a live layer of performance, In this performance the work is projected as a recording in its newest form (2012), with Myrto Korkokiou on the recorded flute track, as the flute part was re-arranged by Myrto Korkokiou and within the presence of Michael Adams himself, and despised/produced by Apostolos Loufopoulos as part of its digital release (Rekem Records)
