The Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University within the framework of its 20th anniversary celebrations gladly announces The Screening of Award-Winning Films and Pitching Seminar in Corfu on April 13-14, 2024. This event takes place at the studio of the Municipal and Regional Theater of Corfu on April 13-14. The screenings are both days from 18:00-21:00 and the seminar is on Saturday 10:00-13:00 and is coordinated by Iakovos Panagopoulos.
On Saturday, April 13th, and Sunday, April 14th, the screening of the award-winning films of the International Short Film Festival of Drama will take place. The film screenings constitute the core of the two-day event, offering the audience the opportunity to enjoy and delve into masterpieces of short cinema that have stood out. The screenings will be free for the public and will take place from 18:00 to 21:00 at the studio of the Municipal and Regional Theater of Corfu (ΔΗΠΕΘΕ Κέρκυρας).
Additionally, on Saturday, April 13th, from 10:00 to 13:00 at the same venue, an important Pitching seminar will be held with the participation of Barbara Douka, Educational Program Manager of the International Short Film Festival of Drama and Artistic Director of the Municipal and Regional Theater of Corfu, and Dr. Iakovos Panagopoulos, Assistant Professor at the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University, Director, and Screenwriter. The seminar will offer participants a unique opportunity to develop their skills in cinema through the pitching process. The seminar will also be open and free for all participants.
