Renata Dalianoudi, Associate Professor at the Dept. of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University and Director of the Institute for the Greek Music Heritage (IEMK), is representing the Institute at the International Conference of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML), taking place in Salzburg, 6-11 of July, 2025.
As part of the official conference program, Professor Dalianoudi is presenting the exhibition “I think it’s time we listened… The ΙΕΜΚ at the Ghika Gallery”, with a paper entitled: “From the Silent Musical Archives to the Audio-Visual Representation of Musical Documents in a Museum. Case Study: the Exhibition ‘I think it’s time we listened… Τhe IEMK at Ghika's Gallery”.
This presentation explores innovative approaches to curating musical archives within museum contexts, focusing on the audio-visual representation of Greek music heritage.
