The movie "Everything Was Never Enough" explores the youth and mourning in parallel. The protagonist faces the loss of his father and the gradual alienation from the people he loved during his college years. Absorbed by the routine of life and the need to finally upgrade his quality of life, he works until he's exhausted, returning home just to sleep. One day, after his shift, he returns home and falls into a deep sleep, where he dreams of the years that passed quickly, without him realizing it. In the dream, every floor of his student house tells a story with different, yet similar, protagonists. When he realizes he's dreaming, he wakes up and makes a decision: to reconnect with the people he chose to leave behind. To start anew, differently from before. He doesn't exactly decide to turn a completely new page in the book of his life, but at least to stop crumpling the next one.
