The project "Fluid Absence" was created by Maria Tachtatzoglou, a student of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts, and is a live performance. The aim was to craft an atmosphere dominated by ambiguity and fluidity. The initial inspiration stemmed from the word "void." Based on the philosophical approach to the concept of the void, particularly as interpreted by Jean-Paul Sartre, the performance took shape. The statement "Through the void, a person has the absolute freedom to create themselves" played a central role in shaping the final outcome of the piece.
More specifically, the live performance is accompanied by a chaotic soundscape, which significantly enhances the action. Additionally, the objects used as props play a fundamental role in the development and climax of the performance.
