Semina Milarokosta is a visual artist. She graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts. She is now a postgraduate student at the Athens School of Fine Arts, studying Digital Art and Technology. She lives and works in Athens. She has taken part in various group exhibitions and festivals in Greece and abroad.
She is a multidisciplinary visual artist specializing in expanded media and various forms. The visual media she employs include construction, installation, sculpture, costumes, sound, video and live performance.
Her primary areas of interest revolve around issues related to the modern lifestyle, female identity, nature, and the human condition at large. Taking a liberated approach, she weaves narratives of episodes and stories that could be glimpses into the “real” world or, conversely, aspects of an unreal reality.
Influenced by the rapid development of technology, digital interaction platforms, video games, and electronic music, she reinterpret situations in her work that are closely tied to human life.
