This work is an ode to the sea and its characteristic color on this side of the Ionian. The sea in general is associated with summer, the summerish sound of cicadas and sea side. The sea has a special effect on our body, especially when the water falls on our naked body, the feeling of euphoria that one feels is very special. So special that it made me dance naked in it. The fragmentation of the body occurs because when one is under its surface, its image above appears fragmented. Although I am not in the sea, just the feeling of the soundscape and the turquoise waters of the Ionian make me want to dance naked.
George Angelis
George Angelis is an undergraduate student in the Ionian University at the Dpt. of Audio
Visual Arts. Born in Athens with first degree from Shipping and Transports Dpt of Aegean
University. Photography is his natural base of art and with knowledge on Video editing
and code handling he likes to spice his creations either in Photography or Videography. In
parallel to his digital skills he also works with analog photography. He lives and works in a
gallery on the island of Paxos, Greece.
