"I just am" is a person-centered performance that was created on the occasion of my everyday life, the rapid alternation of emotions, the symptoms of anxiety in my body and thoughts. It touches on questioning the capacity of the self, the will to affirm value and the control of the ego, the situations and the world we live in. The influence of the past on the present and the anxiety, is the fear of the future, which is contained in the thoughts that overwhelm and influence the actions of the self. When all this becomes a vicious circle in the mind, there comes a time when the body can no longer stand it, and it shows you what you are trying to avoid. Somehow, the whole world that was built in the mind is shattered. You are called to keep going, to get up with what you have left and learn the aspects of yourself that you have refused, and to appreciate yourself and the people you have next to you. You don't have to look or be something specific or put yourself into the boxes that you've created to fit, you just are, I just am.
