The installation Symbiosis is a living organism consisting of plants and sensors that produce soundscapes exploring the relationship between humans and nature. The space is open and invites the visitor to participate in the project through presence and contact with the plants. The installation becomes an ecosystem in search of balance. In its space, organisms live, communicate and cooperate as a bio-community. The person is able to take the time needed by taking a pause. Or to participate in the work of the ecosystem. How will they work in the public sphere? What participation will they have in the transition? What are the results in the installation’s ecosystem and how will they handle the consequences?
Do humans consider themselves part of nature? Does the city they inhabit contain nature? What are the social and political effects of this condition? Is it a condition of life or is it a political choice?
