The term "мала чешма" translates to "small fountain" in a dialect that is fading away in Western Macedonia, in the so-called Slavic-speaking region. It's a portrait of the small fountain in my village, a meeting point for the remaining children of the village and a reference point for my own life. I was very interested in visualizing this environment that I knew so well, the texture of water and stone, the hollow of the tree, and the fibers of the moss. The documentary explores and attempts to visualize this place, in combination with my own experiences.
