The subject of the film is a circus workshop in the framework of the NGO Circus Aid that took place in October 2021 in Ioannina. People of all ages participated in the project, but mainly children who were staying in the refugee camp of Katsikas, Ioannina, during that period. The action of the Circus Aid is based on the therapeutic background of creative employment and aims at the rehabilitation of people who have experienced trauma both physically and mentally. Taking this background into account, the documentary deals with the way in which participation in this workshop worked emotionally for the people present. The title "Khosh hal" comes from the Persian language, Farsi, and its free translation is "joy".

Melina Schina was born in 1991 in Germany. She studied at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University until 2022 and the documentary Khosh Hal is her graduation project. During her studies she developed a special interest in the fields of Photography and Documentary.
