The film focuses on Toni, a former detective. As he drinks at the bar, Nicole walks in and asks for Toni's help in finding her father's killer. Toni initially refuses but Nicole eventually persuades him. The project draws on the classic Film Noir movement of the 40s-50s and it has been influenced by various films of the genre such as "Double Indemnity", "Caught", "Out of the past", "Big Combo" and others.
