The video is a visual interpretation of the song "帝国少女"(Imperial Girl), which shows a girl's aimless, nocturnal wandering in a big city, starting with a focus on the external urban environment and its features, but delving into the girl's emotional world as it continues. The goal was to make a depiction of the lyrics, which follows and supports the rhythm and flow of the music, while also showing the protagonist's problems in a literal as well as a figurative way. This was done through the use of real-life footage, descriptive paintings and more abstract designs, resulting in a multi-layered presentation of the song's narrative. The music video was created by Christianna Gousia, and the song was produced by the musician R Sound Design.
