"Snapshots of Eros in Isolation" is an experimental film aimed at conveying visually the images that can be found in the director's poem / screenplay of the same name, that explores Love (Eros/Agape) in the time of the recent isolation experienced by individuals due to pandemic mandated lock down. This Love can be one being actively expressed towards another person or one that exists inside us as a potential, predisposition and impulse to Love another person, since both are aspects of the basic human need that is to love and to be loved. This conveyance of images is achieved via the abstract storytelling of the protagonist's everyday moments through the prism of their emotional state and through a stratagem of symbols. This film has an amalgam of narrative and non-narrative structures, employing the German expressionism film "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" as its basic stylistic inspiration.
