In everyday life and especially in combination with all the events that are happening in humanity lately, I wanted to capture how we become "others" during a few minutes, hours, and/or days. Human emotions, an integral part of human physiology, for me, are the "mask", the natural "makeup" of the face, and can always be different from what it looks like. This is why I look into the camera, for the lens to capture all the multitude of emotions that may be contained in the outwardly obvious smile or anger of a person and, in this case, of myself.
