Professor Karyotis specializes in Network-Centric Information Systems, with extensive research in complex network analysis, information diffusion modeling, and cross-layer design in decentralized networks. His presentation will clarify the ethical review and approval processes for academic research conducted at the Ionian University — an essential framework for all MARes researchers preparing or conducting projects involving human participants, data collection, or collaborative fieldwork.
