Participation of members of the Ionian University in the organization of the CHIGreece 2026 Symposium (November 6–7, 2026)

We are pleased to announce the ACM SIGCHI Chapters of Greece and Cyprus Symposium 2026, which will take place on November 6 and 7, 2026.

The symposium is co-organized by the ACM SIGCHI Chapters of Greece (CHIGreece) and Cyprus (CHICyprus) in collaboration with members of the Interactive Arts Laboratory (InArts) and with technical support from Technomedia, a spin-off company of the Ionian University.

The symposium aims to bring together the research communities of Greece and Cyprus, as well as researchers and professionals from the international community. Marking World Usability Day 2026, with the central theme “Designing a Sustainable Future with Ethical AI,” the program will feature special panel discussions on related topics.

The event focuses on the following three thematic areas:

Shaping a sustainable future through Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Ethical AI, and emerging technologies.
Human-centered, responsible, and emerging intelligent technologies.
Long-term sustainable approaches to design and innovation in Human-Computer Interaction.

Abstract and poster submissions should be made through the submission form:

Registration for the symposium, both for attendance and for participation with a poster, is free but required by October 30, 2026 (more information will be shared in due time).
