This work is a combination of performance art and puppet theater. The performer (Yoshimitsu) reconstructs the classical masterpiece - Yoko Ono’s Cut Piece - using a dress-up boy doll . Yoshimitsu introduces him as an artist “Hiroshi.” He tells a story that the boy doll wants to be an artist, so Yoshimitsu brought him to perform in front of the audience. Audiences can cut (clip) his clothes like Ono’s performance work.
Yoshimitsu is accompanied by dancer-performer Justine Goussot as dialogue partner of Hiroshi, and by Iannis Zannos on SuperCollider for live coding sound dialogue.
