The Son of the Sun exhibition presents the visual and narrative universe of an original sci-fi series created by Giorgos Kandiliaris, Ioannis Eleftheriadis, and Stergios Emmanouilidis. The artwork, including concept art, character sheets, and other visual materials, will be displayed in a dedicated space right outside the screening area, creating a seamless transition from exploring the series' world visually to experiencing it cinematically. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the lore, story, and characters through informational materials, while in the main exhibition area—equipped with a projector and sound system—the first episode will be screened alongside excerpts from the second. The exhibition combines visuals, sound, and storytelling, offering a comprehensive presentation of Son of the Sun.
Yorgos Kandiliaris
My artistic journey began at the *Dimitris Horn* Art Middle School and continued at the Art School, where I studied until the first year of high school. I then moved to Cyprus and enrolled in the Visual Arts program at Paralimni High School. During my studies there, I participated in numerous nationwide painting competitions, where I received distinctions for my work. During my university years, I collaborated with professors and fellow students on various artistic projects, both within and outside the academic environment. Additionally, I was responsible for creating the trailer for our school's festival two years ago, contributing to its overall aesthetic and presentation.
