Feed Me is a visual arts installation that brings into the spotlight the women’s issue through the exploration of the main role of women in human history as procreators, feeders and nurturers, but also as sexual objects in the service of the male sex. The female body both in the past and nowadays has served as a repository of social representations, stereotypes, but also as a field of public consultation and exercise of power. It often lacks autonomy, freedom and self-determination and becomes the subject of third parties. This project studies the instrumentalisation of the female body within the patriarchal context through the exploration of female experience and the trauma it carries. The installation will be consisted of drawings, sculptures and a performance. We request that the performance takes place in the exhibition site.

The Red Boat Projects is a visual artists collective founded in 2021 by Vivi Perysinaki and Chrysa Skordaki. In their projects, which include a wide range of visual media such as painting, video, installations, performances and artivism, they bring forward social issues, focussing particularly on gender equality and gender-based violence.
