This project is an artistic representation and creation of a personal experience. The project with the title Echoes of the Wound, has an autobiographical character and focuses on the concept of trauma. It explores the emotional and physical pain caused by my engagement with ballet in childhood and the severe leg injury that resulted from it. In this project art is used as a means of expression and introspection, investigating concepts such as trauma, memory, and representation, with an emphasis on psychosomatic pain and the complex relationship with the body. It is a video art piece incorporating elements of performance art, creating an emotionally atmosphere that highlights pain, struggle, trauma, and ultimately acceptance and redemption, in a space where contradictions are created by reinforcing the content.
