"Corfu Photomarathon" is an event of art and culture, dedicated to "photography" with the aim of providing information and promoting the art of photography. It was first launched in 2017 and is organized by the Social Support Committee of the Corfu Regional Scout Authority and the Corfu Photography Club. The activities to be held include seminars, photography competitions, a photo exhibition and a conference featuring speeches on the art of photography.
Until today the event has been carried out 4 times, in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021. Since 2018, it is part of the annual Audiovisual Arts Festival, organized by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts and the Laboratory of Electroacoustic Music Research & Applications of the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University.
