This is an installation and durational performance based on Marcel Duchamp’s Étant donnés (1944-1966). I will be me lying on the ground will blood seemingly coming out of my vagina in an installation resembling a kitchen. Audience members are encouraged to look through the peephole of the door to see my body. This performance looks at how transgender women are perceived as women, as well as the voyeuristic nature of trans bodies and violence.
