Within the framework of openness with other public bodies, the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University has the pleasure and honour to announce its collaboration with the Chania Film Festival. During the 15th Audiovisual Arts Festival, a public screening entitled “Traveling with my documentary” is organised for selected primary schools of Corfu showing selected documentaries from the Chania Film Festival (https://chaniafilmfestival.com/cffedu/).
This screening is about a series of documentaries made by students of Crete that are produced with the continuous guidance of the creative team of the Chania Film Festival and emphasis on oral narration and local history.
The screened works, lasting 10-12 minutes each, deal with topics such as Local and Oral History, School Life, Modern and Diversified Pedagogy, History of Education, Students with Disabilities, Human Stories.
The screenings will take place on Tuesday 24 May 2022 at the Ionian Academy between 10:00 and 12:30, especially for the student community of Corfu.
