Seamstress' day
Sevi Pavlaki

"Seamstress’ day" is a portrait of an old woman, a former seamstress. While sitting behind the sewing machine, she narrates her story: how she learned to sew and started working at a very young age. As she works, her tired hands attract our attention. Other times, the sewing machine is the true protagonist, because of the light it emits in the relatively dark space and its dominant sound.
