Daphne Mantzi is a 26 year old woman who has serious mental problems, for which, however, she does not seek help, even though -she herself- is a social worker, because she "does not believe in Medicine/Psychiatry" (her deep belief in Christianity perhaps has affected her in this). She has been addicted for years to alcohol, cigarettes and pills, which she has access to with fake prescriptions by SAMG (Social Adjustment of Mentally Vulnerable Groups). We, the audience, meet her one winter night in one room of her house. We see her sitting in a chair in this empty, inhospitable space, holding a piece of paper in her hands and reading it - she reads the note she wrote to him her fiancé, Niko, a few hours before she committed suicide.
