An interactive video installation with Pure Data/GEM and Arduino. Processing the information (values) of the Arduino's analog input A0, in Pure Data/GEM via the ADCTouch library. Connecting the A0 to a steel nail which acts as a variable resistance touch sensor which affects the frames of the video loaded in Pure Data/GEM. The harder the tip of the nail is pressed the more values are read at the output , resulting in a higher number of frames. The nail symbolizes the subject's refusal to communicate. Possible pain in pressing the nail acts as an inhibiting factor to a visitor to press it for a prolonged period of time, so not allowing the bathtub to turn over and release the subject from his inner world .
