The first video of a series of individual stories inspired by the study of the origins of the universe created with original techniques such as live recording and projection of the behavior of flowing colors on a moving surface in order to create short videos of ''visual meditation''
Martha Gogakou was born in Thessaloniki in 1986. She is a graduate of the Theater Department School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2014 she completed her first postgraduate studies at Kingston University of London upon Thames in screen writing and drama. In 2018-2019 she completed her second master's degree in the Department of Audiovisual Arts of the Ionian University entitled "Audiovisual Arts in the Digital Age". From 2021 she is a PHD Candidate at the Audiovisual Arts Department of the Ionian University. Currently she is working on a theoretical and technical research based on the creation of her experimental videos with linear or non linear narration and abstract images created using original techniques such as recording the behavior of flowing colors on small-scale moving surfaces. With interactive installations, animations and live cinema performances she has participated in various festivals including: New Media Film Festival (Los Angeles, 2021) Athens Digital Art Festival (Athens 2020), Art in Thessaloniki - Pikap Community (Thessaloniki 2020), 47th and 54th Dimitria Festival (Thessaloniki 2012 and 2019), Athens AnimFest (Athens 2019), Audiovisual Arts Festival (Corfu 2018), Platform Projects (Athens 2018) Concert Hall of Thessaloniki (Thessaloniki 2015), National Theatre of Northern Greece (Thessaloniki 2014), Prague Quadrennial (Prague 2011).
