Entering an antique shop and moving towards its interior, a varied and harmoniously out of synch, suffocating with objects and little things place unfolds. Suffocating because of the lack of space, out of synch because of the different seasons and lives of the objects and harmonious because they all share something in common: they are imbued with memories. Antique shops are meeting places for all these objects, places of exchange open for discovery, but they are not the only ones. In every home, on a shelf, desk, box, refrigerator, wallet, cupboard, memorabilia objects are stored and placed. The work Mapas de objetos deals with the relationship between memory and objects. The emergence of objects as pieces of the puzzle to create memory and the revival of a memory are key elements of the work. By using edited images to distort or confuse the depicted objects and presenting them through the lenses of a children's toy, it is desired to transmit the material world that includes the spaces. The sound from the view master, the movement of the changing images, the intensity of the colours, the isolation from the environment, the materiality of the circular film with the images and the materiality of the view master itself are some of the elements that help the recall of the memory.
