In this video art work 39 persons of different ages are invited to sit in front of the same black door, talk about their favourite object and in what, by using this object, they could be transformed. In the final cut only the silent expressions are kept.

Maria Krigka
Maria Krigka was born in Athens. She has a BA in Sociology, Panteio University and a BA (Integrated Master) in Painting, School of Fine and Applied Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She got her MA in Fine Arts from Northumbria University at Newcastle, U.K. (scholarship from Academy of Athens) on common grounds between visual arts and theatre.
She has presented 2 solo shows/installations and participated in many group exhibitions. Her interests focus on graphic design, stage design and architecture. She has been working at several ephorates of antiquities and as a member of the conservation team in Akrotiri, Santorini.
She is currently teaching (special teaching staff) at Ionio University, Audiovisual Department.
