"HD video, with sound, duration: 2'09''. Analog gestures and digital processing, transform and re-interpret the recording of the skinning process of a slaughtered lamb in the village Kastro in Grevena, Greece (personal archive video). Ιt is a essay-type application of montage in a sort of “critical historiography” which implies that the fragments of history can be rescued by detaching them from their original context and attaching them to a series of appositions, in order to form that picture which does not simply represent an ideaor captures a reality, but acts on reality and tries to construct an idea."
