Darkness is a five – minute piece of electroacoustic music with a representational character. The initial idea was the creation of a piece that it would externalize feelings of dread and desperation. The piece contains audio recordings from the use of everyday items. There are edited sounds as well as raw sounds. Steps, breaths, screams, squeaking doors, abrupt and quick-changing sounds are basic features of the artwork and they aim to describe a woman being chased by a killer. Last but not least, it is a project that was made for the course of ‘Introduction to Electroacoustic Music Composition’.
