As part of the 19th Audiovisual Arts Festival of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts, the “LiteRArt” Club will present a group art exhibition entitled “LiteRArts Album” on Friday, 15 May 2026 at 18:00 in the Ionian University's Library and Information Centre.

A Few Words About the Exhibition
“LiteRArts” Club is presenting a group retrospective exhibition titled ‘LiteRArts Album’, featuring visual interpretations and impressions of the events it has organised from 2022 to the present day.
The exhibition opening will be followed by the club's thematic meeting on the same day, titled “Between Writing…and Music”, which will bring together a diverse group of artists. From the world of literature and poetry, the club is hosting Roula Kaloudi, a writer and poet. From the world of music, the club is hosting a distinguished group of creators and artists (in alphabetical order): Ilias Gomatos, Andreas Vidalis and Zografenia Peklari.
Groups and communities are formed through expressive means — words, poetry and sounds. The Club is one such community.

A few words about our guests
Roula Kaloudi
Roula Nikolaou Kaloudi hails from a family of sailors in Ypsos, Corfu. She graduated from a marketing and public relations school. She also took theatre classes at the Sotiris Bouhayer School. She has worked in the aviation and tourism sectors, and still does. In 2022, her poem 'Breastfeeding' won an award from the Corfu Medical and Surgical Society. In 2014, her short story 'Stealing the Marbles' was recognised by the magazine Klepsydra and published in the volume 'Post-Industrial Places'. In 2017, her short story collection Alos and Crowns was published by Image Publications. In March 2026, her poetry collection Satellites of Time was also published by Image Publications. Her poems have been published in issues 4–6 of the art magazine To Kataphygio and on the art website www.parathemata.com. Her articles, short stories and theatre reviews have been published in the Corfu press and online.
Andreas Vidalis
Andreas Vidalis was born and raised in Piraeus. He studied the cello, advanced music theory and composition at various institutions, including the Piraeus Association, the Athens Conservatory, the Piraeus Model Music Centre and the Romanos the Melodist Conservatory. His professors included composers Andreas Karbone, Joseph Vallet, Dimitris Karavelis and Stella Efstathianou, as well as cellists Kostas Kyrrou, Nikolaos Papadimitriou, Giannos Giovanos and Giannis Touli, who taught in the Performance Department at Ionian University. He has also attended seminars and masterclasses led by renowned musicians and professors from Greece and abroad, including Dennis Parker (Louisiana State University, USA), Michele Ballarini (Italy), Eduardo González (Superior Conservatory of Castilla-La Mancha), and Asterios Pouftis (KOA, Greece). In recent years, he has performed with orchestras such as the National Symphony Orchestra (Dubai) and the Nostalgia Symphony Orchestra (Greece). He has also served as the artistic director of the Mikis Theodorakis Symphony Orchestra and the Ionian Islands Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, he has taught cello, chamber music, and advanced music theory at music institutes and schools in countries including Greece, England, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates.
Ilias Gomatos
Ilias Gomatos is a pianist and composer born in Sparta in 1992 who grew up in Patras. He received a piano degree from the Municipal Conservatory of Patras in 2017, before completing his studies in “Composition of Instrumental Music” at the Department of Music Studies at the Ionian University in 2023. He has studied a variety of musical genres, including jazz, blues, pop and Greek art music, and performed in numerous concerts at various venues in Corfu, Patras, Athens and Sparta. He has performed his own works live on the piano and has also recorded and released original music. He has also composed music for theatrical productions and television series. For the series Maestro in Blue, he composed two original pieces and one additional arrangement of the soundtrack.
Zografenia Peklari
Zografenia is a 25-year-old Greek artist whose work encompasses music, voice, nature and community. She holds an Integrated Master's Degree in Music Education and Psychology from the Dept. of Music Studies, Ionian University. She is passionate about vocal improvisation, authentic self-expression, sonic journeys and creating safe spaces for people to explore their inner voice. In recent years, she has organised free vocal improvisation circles, sound bath sessions, concerts and creative workshops that combine music with environmental awareness.
A few words about the “LiteRArt” Club
A free "anarchic" artistic situation and a meeting point, interaction, connection and conversation of audiovisual arts, literature, music and especially... people.
