AudioVisual Arts Festival 2006
The Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University is organizing this year the 1st Audiovisual Arts Festival. The program includes a variety of artistic works created by the Department’s students to be displayed in a number of events, including audiovisual installations, performances, interactive work presentations, exhibitions of artistic works and photography, while in parallel there will be concerts held in collaboration with the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University. Another significant event will be the 1-day Symposium taking place under the theme “Digital Technology and Audiovisual Arts”. The Audiovisual Arts Festival will take place in Corfu, from May 24th to 28th, 2006, with the venues including the Areteos building, the Ionian Academy and the Municipal Library of Corfu.
