TABOO - TRANSGRESSION - TRANSCENDENCE

While the call for proposals to the conference Taboo – Transgression - Transcendence in Art & Science 2023 taking place at the Malta Society of Arts in Valletta is open until the end of January 2023, the main core of the proceedings of TTT2020 Vienna/Online have just been released in an open access publication in digital format (e-Book), with ISBN number 978-960-7260-70-3.

Being for the first time co-funded by the Ionian University and the European Union, TTT2023 Malta is being organized within the framework of the project Rewilding Cultures (2022 – 2025) by the Feral Labs Network under Creative Europe. We would like to inform you that the deadline for submitting final text for TTT2020 eBook proceedings has been extended. So, if you have submitted or are considering submitting your chapter to the open digital publication we announce that the deadline has been extended until April 25th 2021.

Τhe fourth international conference "Taboo - Transgression - Transcendence in Art & Science" will take place November 26–28, 2020, exclusively online as TTT2020 Vienna/Online, an umbilical cord between what would be and what it is. Including theoretical and art practice presentations, TTT2020 continues to focus: (a) on questions about the nature of the forbidden and aesthetics of liminality as expressed in art that uses or is inspired by technology and science; (b) on the opening of spaces for creative transformation in the merging of science and art. TTT2020 Vienna/Online will have one unique streaming channel with a 12 hours program/day followed by a recorded re-stream for audiences in other time zones. This means 24h a day for three days non-stop! The program of TTT2020 is divided in four categories in a total of twenty-three Sessions, six Roundtables, five ArtBox events and three Open Mic Q&A sessions.

Notification date has been extended to July 31st, 2020. We are very honored and excited about all proposals submitted and we would like to ask for your understanding for our delay in answering back. Circumstances are extraordinary and we are still working on the composition and format of TTT2020.
